We bring a complete photography setup straight to your office, lighting, backdrop, and everything needed for a professional result. Each person gets one-on-one time in front of the camera, with as much guidance as they need to feel comfortable.
Photos are reviewed on-screen as we go, so everyone has the chance to see their shots and give the thumbs up before we move on. We can also set up individual galleries for each team member, taking the admin off your plate when it comes to distributing headshots across the company.

Hey, I'm Ron, the person behind Keylight. In photography, a key light is the main light on a subject, the one that shapes how they're seen. That's exactly what I want every photo to do for you: put you front and centre, seen the way you deserve to be.
Before photography, I spent 15 years as a graphic and product designer, most of it at a graduate-focused job site that was later acquired by one of Australia's leading job platforms, where I regularly sat down with hirers to understand exactly what they looked for when hiring a candidate.
That thinking carries into every headshot and brand photo I take. It's never just about whether a photo looks good, it's about whether it does its job the moment someone sees your photo.

How long until I receive my headshot photos?
Retouched images are delivered within 48 hours of your shoot, via a private online gallery.
Do you offer onsite or on-location headshots in Sydney?
Yes — Keylight is fully mobile with no fixed studio. We set up wherever suits your team, whether that's your office, a meeting room, or another Sydney location.
What backdrops are available for headshots?
We offer classic black, grey, or white backdrops — or we can shoot on location using your own office, indoors or outdoors, for a more natural, branded feel. Custom request is also available.
What kind of editing do you do?
Every image receives professional retouching — even skin tone, natural colour correction, and subtle detail work — while keeping the result looking like your team, not overprocessed.
What should I wear for my headshot photo shoot?
Solid colours work best — avoid busy patterns, logos, and pure white or black. Attire should also reflect your company's style, whether that's formal or more casual. We'll send a short styling guide before your shoot.
Can we book multiple locations or split our team across days?
Yes — for larger teams, we're happy to split your shoot across multiple days to fit around your team's schedule.
Who owns the rights to the images?
Each employee retains rights to their own image, with usage terms confirmed through individual consent at the time of the shoot. Your company receives a licence to use the final images for business purposes.
Can employees choose their own final image?
Yes — each team member selects their preferred image(s) during the Review & Select step, either on-site or via the post-shoot proof gallery.
What if someone needs a retake or joins the team later?
For a small number of retakes or new starters, we can arrange a short top-up session — just get in touch to set a time. If you have 5 or more new people, it becomes more cost-effective to rebook at your corporate rate.
Do you do group team photos?
Yes — while individual headshots are the core of every package, group and team photos can be added on as part of your shoot.
